A minimally-invasive trainer for the treatment of sinusitis. Realistic sinus anatomy derived from patient data. The Maxillary Sinus Trainer provides a realistic environment for the training of a sinus ostium remodeling procedure. Direct access to the maxillary antrum can be obtained through a replaceable upper gum that leads to highly-detailed sinus anatomy derived directly from patient CT data. The trainer gum is bilateral, providing a minimum of two trainings per replacement. The gum element provides both bony and soft tissue layers, enhancing the experience of puncturing into the sinus. Once inside, the sinus cavities and ostia are flexible and are able to be manipulated. Head is made of lifelike skin material with bony skull beneath.
