What Is the Best Anatomical Model to Demonstrate Skeletal, Muscular and Cartilaginous Structures of the Leg?
One of the SynDaver anatomical models that enables a good demonstration of skeletal, muscular and cartilaginous structures of the leg is the Synthetic Cadaver of the Leg (102400). This SynDaver anatomical model displays all skeletal, muscular and cartilaginous structures between the crown of the hemi-pelvis and the toes, enabling for an easier demonstration for small, medium and larger classrooms.
In addition to showing skeletal, muscular and cartilaginous structures of the leg in a static detail, the model also features articulating joints; this includes the hip, knee, ankle, toes and the foot. The model is made with thermoplastic bones with integral facia sheath. The tissues on the model are made with organosilicate composite or a simplified version of SynTissue.
Does SynDaver Provide Any Synthetic Anatomical Models of the Organs?
At Mentone Educational, customers can find numerous anatomical models of the organs, which are made with the typical synthetic material of the SynDaver brand. One such a model is the anatomical model of the Lungs (130120).
To create the synthetic anatomical model of the lungs, SynDaver used a structural design based on CT and MRI imagery, taking from actual patients. The synthetic tissues that have been applied to the model have also been checked against mechanical, physicochemical, thermal and dielectric properties of genuine living tissue.
The anatomical model of the lungs is used for many different things. It can be used for demonstrations and simulations, but also has applications in testing breathing circuits, bronchoscopes and respiratory devices.
Our Lungs Model from SynDaver can be customised for customers. If you require such a customisation, customers can contact Mentone Educational and speak to one of our technical sales representatives.
In additions to the Lungs Model, there are many other anatomical models of the organs; this includes the SynDaver oesophagus, gall bladder, kidney, large intestine and much more. For more information about these models, please head over to our catalogue or contact one of our sales representatives.
