At life-size this anatomical model is ideal for demonstrating basic anatomy of the human skull.

This life-size anatomical skull with coloured bones is coloured to clearly define the various sections of the human skull. Often refered to as didactic skulls the colouring helps define the individual bone plates in the skull.  The anatomical skull is composed of 22 pieces with suture lines marked so they can be identified.

The removable calvarium is cut, and can be lifted off the skull to show the inner structures of the skull and the mandible is sprung and movable while 3 lower teeth can be removed - an incisor, canine and molar.

At average life size this anatomical model is ideal for demonstrating basic anatomy of the human skull, with the added benefit that the coloured bones make it simpler to explain how the various bones have fused together after birth.
