This male pelvis section model with BPH represents an almost full size mid-sagittal section showing the anatomy of the pelvis and prostate gland.
The model includes both normal and Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) inserts which are interchangeable to show the difference between normal and affected prostate anatomy.
The BPH insert shows thickening and distention of bladder, urine retention, urethral obstruction and the increased size of the prostate. This male pelvis anatomy model would be ideal as a patient education aid for use in urological clinics or a GP surgery.
