The Vertec is one of the most popular devices available for testing vertical jump height.
It is the only product of its kind offering athletes and coaches an effective, easy-to-use, jump testing device and training tool.
Simply measure the standing reach of a subject with their arm fully extended upward. Have the subject jump and touch the highest possible vane they can, then measure the difference between their standing reach and jumping height.
Vertec is excellent for testing an athlete's explosive power. It measures how effectively a person converts horizontal movement into vertical lift. Use the Vertec consistently with your subjects to measure their improvement, develop good jumping techniques and improve their endurance with repeat jumps.
