This simulator is perfect for demonstrating all standard obstetrical procedures.

It can be used to demonstrate
- Foetal palpation
- Breech birth
- Normal birth
- C-section delivery
- Episiotomy
- Vertex presentation, and
- Prolapse of the umbilical cord

Features include a removable diaphragm cover and removable stomach cover for manual positioning of the foetus; life-size pelvic cavity with all major anatomical landmarks and a hand-painted outline of the bony pelvis; ultra-soft vulval insert for episiotomy exercises; and simulated dorsosacral position for realistic delivery technique. Forceps can be used during simulations.

The Leopold's Manoeuvre can not be demonstrated on this simulator. To demonstrate this manoeuvre the Leopold's Manoeuvre Module (SB29930) is required.

Other optional additions to this model include;
- Labour Delivery Module (SB29931), and
- Birthing System Module (SB32872).

The Advanced Childbirth Simulator with vinyl skin includes two foetal babies and placentas, spare stomach cover, two spare vulval inserts, two spare umbilical cords, and carrying handle. All parts in this simulator are replaceable.
